One of the biggest movies of 2024 is already in the midst of producing its highly anticipated second act. However, Wicked director Jon M. Chu encountered more than a few lukewarm reactions after revealing his revised version of the sequel’s title. Originally referred to as just Wicked: Part Two, the unexpected transition to Wicked: For Good has attracted criticisms from fans who believe this new title is unnecessary and incongruent with the films’ Broadway roots.
