Season 2 of Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender is introducing arguably the best character from the beloved Nickelodeon animated series to the live-action version. Toph Beifong will finally join Team Avatar in Season 2, played by Miya Cech (The Rim of the World). Toph was introduced in Season 2 of the original animated series, and quickly became one of Aang’s closest friends, as well as his earthbending teacher. Season 1 of Netflix’s live-action adaptation made some major deviations from the original series, but fans were hoping the show’s iteration of Toph would remain faithful. According to Miya Cech, her version of Toph is a lot like the animated version, with a few exceptions.
