Netflix has provided cinephiles with a lot of great movies since they began releasing their own titles in 2011. While the OG streaming giant made a splash with Lillyhammer as its first exclusive content, it was the soaring greatness of House of Cards, a critically acclaimed political thriller series which won many Emmys and other awards, that truly put Netflix on the map as a major player in the area of original productions.
