Tom Cruise is reuniting with director Doug Liman for a new movie, but don’t get too excited that this could be for Edge of Tomorrow 2. No, while fans are still not getting that sequel yet, they will be following up the success of their 2014 sci-fi action thriller and 2017’s American Made with the supernatural horror movie Deeper. While Cruise dabbled in family-friendly horror with Universal’s disastrous reboot of The Mummy, it looks like this will be a more mature and traditional “scary” movie for the pair to get their teeth into.
