In the box office battle of Wicked vs. Gladiator II, the former was always going to be the clear winner thanks to its huge built-in Broadway fanbase, but looking at it from the perspective of a Barbenheimer repeat, the real winner this weekend and moving forward are the moviegoers, as both theatrical releases will be eating well in the weeks ahead.
