There was so much attention around the movie Barbie in 2023 that its easy to forget it wasnt the first movie to take a feminist approach to a pink-loving, somewhat ditzy blonde bombshell. There have been others, and arguably one of the most notable is that of Legally Blonde. The 2001 movie might be light, fluffy fun. But like Barbie, it has a deeper message behind it.
