FX’s Grotesquerie could survive to see a second season. Created by Ryan Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz, and Joe Baken, the horror drama follows Detective Lois Tryon (Niecy Nash) and Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond), as they investigate a series of gruesome, religiously-themed murders in a small town. The series, which delivered a shocking twist during its last episode, “Unplugged,” has fared well with critics. The series will air new episodes until October 30, and according to recent comments from Murphy and FX Chairman of FX Content & FX Productions John Landgraf, it seems likely it will return for a second season.
