The doors to the scandalous world of Bridgerton were first opened in December 2020, when the first season was dropped on Netflix and was instantly devoured by fans in utter excitement. Based on Julia Quinns novel series of the same name, which was released from 2000 to 2006, writer and producer Shonda Rhimess Shondaland picked up the story and, together with creator Chris Van Dusen, turned it into one of Netflixs most intriguing series.
