Most television fans will agree: some of the most important components of any TV show are the characters, as well as the cast who portrays them. Some TV shows can seemingly last forever, running 10, 15, even 20+ years. Many fans grow up with the characters (and the actors) they watch and become emotionally invested in their journeys.
