The cast includes Cory Michael Smith, D.W. Moffett, and Elizabeth Yu; Portman and Will Ferrell are among the film’s producers. May December premiered this year at the 76th Cannes Film Festival and sold to Netflix for $11 million; it will debut on the streaming platform Dec. 1 after a run in select theaters.
