The Marvel Television Animated Series What If…? has ended after 3 seasons, with the final installment finishing its run this past week. While there were plenty of surprises for fans of both the comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies, one notable standout was the appearance of Storm, a mutant and X-Men member, who wields Mjölnir in the penultimate episode of the series. While the X-Men 97 series has brought the Mutants back to prominence again, seeing one in an MCU-related television show was a big deal, especially since the previous appearance of an X-Man in an MCU project was Hugh Jackman’s Logan in Deadpool & Wolverine.
