During a chat for Variety with Abbott Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson, Aniston fondly recalled the Friends premiere – sharing an anecdote that included her late co-star Matthew Perry. Friends, which premiered in 1994 and remains one of television history’s most beloved sitcoms, turns 30 this year. When Brunson was prompted by someone off-camera to ask Aniston how it felt watching Friends now, the actress and producer’s voice cracked with emotion as she told Brunson: “Oh God, don’t make me cry.”
