In an exclusive interview with MovieWeb, Emile Hirsch made the surprising revelation that none other than Hollywood icon Steven Spielberg has a soft spot for Hirsch’s 2004 teen comedy, The Girl Next Door. The actor revealed that, during a visit to the set of Spielberg’s 2011 animated adventure movie, The Adventures of Tintin, Spielberg declared how much he likes The Girl Next Door, which finds Hirsch’s high school kid who falls in love with the titular girl next door…only to learn that she is a former pornographic actress.
