2024 has already been a massive year for television, especially on streaming. Netflix released its live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender adaptation, as well as Guy Ritchie’s The Gentleman. FX’s hit Fargo also saw the final episodes of its fifth season drop earlier this year, and Shogun made its outstanding debut. In close competition were also Reacher‘s and Invincible‘s second seasons — both of which carried over into 2024. Only three months into the new year, these newly released shows are already hard to top. However, it appears the best phase of 2024’s TV cycle is only a few months away.
