James Cameron recently pulled off yet another of his signature mic-drops, revealing that not only is the third installment in his epic Avatar franchise almost complete, but he’s already planning to extend the series by two installments. This would give us a grand total of seven chapters. While Cameron admitted that he’s growing old and will likely have to hand the series off to a new filmmaker eventually, it seems inevitable that a world like Pandora would continue to explore its seemingly endless storytelling possibilities.
