Sony has won the rights to the long-awaited 28 Days Later sequel, which will see Danny Boyle and writer Alex Garland reunite to helm the project. According to THR, the star of the original movie, Cillian Murphy, who saw his career take off after leading the zombie outing, is now on board as an executive producer and could be tempted back to star in the sequel.
