What we can all agree on is that Hwang Dong-hyuk delivered an unexpected final chapter to the beloved TV show. Star Lee Jung-jae, who plays the lead character Gi-hun, admits to being shocked when he found out about his character’s arc. Nevertheless, he eventually understood Gi-hun’s continuing legacy after the tragic finale. A legacy that his daughter may carry on.
