However, they won’t escape the doom, as the eerie footage offers an unsettling look into the horror movie’s central mystery concerning a group of children in the small town of Maybrook who all voluntarily leave their homes one night at precisely 2:17 a.m., never to return again, with the teasers tracing their initial steps “into the dark.”
