A whole new world… of nightmare fuel is coming, as Aladdinis the latest Disney classic to get the horror movie treatment. According to Deadline, Terrifier 3 star Bradley Stryker is attached to direct a “dark, supernatural reimagining” of the Arabic folktale from One Thousand and One Nights that Disney famously turned into an animated movie, telling the story of a street urchin who discovers a magic lamp containing a larger-than-life genie. Anyone wanting to see a twisted take on this children’s favorite is now about to have their wish granted because Aladdin: The Monkey’s Paw is officially heading into production next month in the UK.
