While the vampires in Sinners draw blood (and lots of it) from their victims, filmmaker Ryan Coogler has revealed that he drew something very different from an unlikely source when crafting his new action-horror movie. The director made a surprising revelation during a recent episode of Get Rec’dwith Straw Hat Goofy on YouTube, where he admitted that his vision of fear was hugely influenced by none other than DreamWorks Animation’s Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, the 2022 sequel to the Shrek spin-off film Puss in Boots.
