It may have been hard to predict back in 2009, but Isabelle Fuhrman’s Esther has become something of a horror movie mainstay thanks to the film Orphan and its 2022 prequel, Orphan: First Kill. No doubt making everyone suspicious of “kids,” the films have been a bright spot for the horror genre and that’s thanks in large part to the performance of Isabelle Fuhrman, who brings the psychopathic Ester to life with relentless glee. Thanks to the success of the first two films, a third installment is on the way and Fuhrman has teased what’s to come in the “wilder and crazier” follow-up.
