The incident led to a formal warning from the show’s production team. During a conversation with Siwa, who is openly queer and in a relationship with a nonbinary person, Rourke made several offensive comments. He reportedly joked that if he remained in the house for more than four days, Siwa “won’t be gay anymore,” and later added a disturbing remark about wanting to “tie” her up.
