Captain America: Brave New World wasn’t quite the theater-filling, internet-breaking hit Marvel Studios were hoping it to be. But, the movie (which was released in theaters in February this year) now has the chance to redeem itself with a digital release. Brave New World finally gave Anthony Mackie his own standalone film in the MCU, after a decade of supporting from the sidelines as Sam Wilson, a.k.a. The Falcon. The film had enough star power to be a success, with Harrison Ford taking over from the late William Hurt as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, and Giancarlo Esposito playing Seth Volkeur, better known as Sidewinder, a dangerous mercenary and member of the Serpent Society. Unfortunately, a lack of turnout in theaters resulted in the film crawling past its reported $180 million budget at the domestic box office, taking home $199 million.
