After starring in or producing nearly 100 films since the beginning of his career, it’s reasonable to expect that not all of Brad Pitt’s projects will be chart-toppers or award-winners. This holds especially true for his vast repertoire of action movies, since even the most dramatic of slow-motion walkaways from twenty-foot-tall flames can feel a little repetitive after a while. But there’s one action flick in particular that doesn’t deserve to be lumped in with dime-a-dozen productions of meaningless violence and one-dimensional characters: David Leitch’s 2022 feature Bullet Train.
