Sometimes it can take years for a movie to truly catch on, and that has proven to be the case with the 2004 comedy White Chicks, directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, and starring Marlon and Shawn Wayans, better known as the Wayans Brothers. The film was a moderate hit upon release and wasn’t embraced by critics as it carries a less than stellar 15% Rotten Tomatoes score. Despite the critical response, the film has since been regarded as a cult classic, with many fans demanding a sequel. As they wait for news of a follow-up, White Chicks has found success once again by becoming a hit on streaming.
