The upcoming Resident Evilreboot is officially on the way, and it is set to hit theaters sooner than many expected. Fans of the beloved video game series have been witness to numerous failed adaptations, most recently being the low-budget flick Welcome to Raccoon City and Netflix’s short-lived series Resident Evil. Hailing from Barbarian director Zach Cregger, Sony has officially commissioned another Resident Evil reboot, which will reportedly take the franchise back to its horror roots.
