When Netflix announced that Christina Ricci would be appearing in the first season of Tim Burton’s Wednesday series, some fans hoped that she would be taking on the role of Morticia, the mother of the titular character she played in two movies in the 1990s. However, in a new interview with Variety, Ricci indirectly addressed one reason why that was probably never an option for her.
