Great ideas don’t come by too often in Hollywood, so the industry tends to remake films from the past. It’s understandable when a studio decides to rework an old movie that performed decently but didn’t exceed expectations. However, sections of fans tend to frown when the classics are touched. Why give a modern update to a film that’s flawless? Why not just make the old film as widely available as possible? After all, most classics have aged fairly well.
