A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight, the latest spinoff from the world of Game of Thrones, just got a surprising update well ahead of its debut on HBO. Although George R. R. Martin has been overtly critical of HBO’s adaptation of his hit book series in the past, especially when it comes to the final two seasons of the hit original show, he seems to be quite optimistic about a “faithful” retelling of his Tales of Dunk and Egg novels, set to premiere on HBO later this year. Not only does Martin give fans a potential release window, but it seems A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will be staying for the long haul.
