Even after four decades of Dragon Ball, the franchise’s popularity has yet to fizzle out. Created by the late Akira Toriyama, the iconic manga-based anime has maintained itself as one of the most well-liked and recognizable properties of all time, garnering fans of all ages. Although there’s a lot of dispute surrounding later installments living up to the original series’ magnetism and canon, showrunners keep finding ways to continue the anime with new spin-off shows and movies. Toriyama’s final contribution before his passing, Dragon Ball Daima, is the latest addition to the longstanding franchise.
