The saga of Kevin Costner’s poorly received Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 is proving to have more twists and turns off-screen than in the slow, meandering plot of the film itself. After the movie failed to spark at the box office, it was released as a Max-exclusive title…but even that has not lasted very long, as Horizon – Chapter 1 has unexpectedly joined the Netflix library. As you would expect, this has put the divisive first part of Costner’s quadrilogy of planned movies in front of a whole new global audience.
