As with any year in film, 2024 has been a fascinating year filled with incredible highs like Inside Out 2, Anora, and Challengers, alongside some disappointments like Borderlands, Madame Web, and Red One. The year has been incredibly varied, and audiences have sought out a rich array of films. While blockbusters like Dune: Part Two, Wicked, and Twisters all performed to expectations, movies like It Ends with Us, Conclave, and We Live in Time also gained much attention. Martin Scorsese praised I Saw the TV Glow, while The Substance is gaining more fans daily. With the Academy Awards on the horizon, plenty more movies will undoubtedly get their flowers.
