Wicked has finally arrived in theaters, and the first of the two-part film has some surprises lined up for fans. The film successfully adapts the iconic musical, and the stellar cast ensemble gives incredible performances. The chemistry between Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba and Ariana Grande’s Glinda was reminiscent of Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth’s performances as the original Elphaba and Glinda in the 2003 Broadway production. Erivo and Grande made the beloved roles their own while honoring the legacy of Menzel and Chenoweth. Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum are among the many other incredible actors joining the legacy of Wicked.
