The Boys has spent several years satirizing the world of commercial gains, political underhandedness, and corporate greed, but as the series comes to an end and the universe of the franchise expands in new ways, creator Eric Kripke is terrified of turning the superhero drama into the very thing they have been ripping to shreds. Season 5 will bring The Boys to a close, but Gen V and Vought Rising will keep the flags flying for now. With other spinoffs potentially on the cards, there is a question of when enough is enough.
