A Gladiator is preparing to step into the theatrical coliseum once again. A full 24 years after the first go around of 2000’s Gladiator, Gladiator II is ready to take on the box office. An epic historical action film that follows the lineage of Maximus Meridius (Russel Crowe), Gladiator II is a tale of revenge and legacy as Maximus son fights in a plot to overthrow the emperors of Rome. And while it may have taken two decades for the stars to align for the sequel, for Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal, the film is a reunion following a different tale of mayhem and revenge: The Equalizer 2.
