Prime Video’s Canary Black stars Kate Beckinsale as Avery Graves, a CIA agent who must use all her skill to rescue her husband from the clutches of a terrorist organization before they unleash the Canary Black virus on the world. The movie, directed by Pierre Morel, who also directed the Liam Neeson vehicle Taken, is an action thriller that has a fairly predictable plot. Still, with Beckinsale’s committed performance and Ray Stevenson in one of his last roles as Avery’s mentor and CIA Director Jarvis Hedlund, it’s still worth catching.
