Deadpool & Wolverine has grossed $1.31 billion at the worldwide box office, has become the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time, and just recently passed The Avengers to become the fifth highest-grossing MCU movie at the domestic box office. Now it has eyes set on taking over the awards season. Deadpool & Wolverine was the only MCU film released in 2024, and after a rough 2023, it seemed to turn the public perception of the franchise around for many people.
