However, Tarantino has shattered those dreams to pieces by revealing that Kill Bill was never meant to be a trilogy. Starring Uma Thurman as Beatric Kiddo, a.k.a. The Bride, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 are the director’s love letters to classic revenge films. After being left for dead at her own wedding, The Bride seeks revenge against Bill (David Carradine) and the Deadly Vipers. Inspired by Asian action movies and animation, Kill Bill is regarded as one of Tarantino’s best, and that’s saying something considering his filmography.
