Charlie Cox Says Spider-Man: No Way Home Almost Featured a Ben Affleck Daredevil Easter Egg
Spider-Man: No Way Home rounded out Tom Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy and finally introduced Daredevil (Charlie Cox) to the MCU. But an early version of the script nearly featured a cheesy reference to the original Daredevil movie, which was best left on the writing room floor. Alongside Holland and Cox, No Way Home also saw Jon Favreau reprise his long-running MCU role as Happy Hogan. Favreau has been a staple of the MCU since its conception, not just as an actor, but also as a director. But, before Favreau played Tony Stark’s trusted driver/head of security/friend, he appeared as Daredevil’s best-friend, Foggy Nelson, in the universally hated Daredevil (2003).
