Diablo Cody has completed the script for the remake of the 1980 workplace comedy 9 to 5. At Comic-Con 2024, she revealed that the new version will focus on the cultural clash between Gen Z and boomers in a modern office setting. Interestingly enough, the twist will highlight both differences in generational approach and the corporate world.
