Black Panther star Letitia Wright is distancing herself from the right-wing news outlet The Daily Wire and its involvement in the new film Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot. Wright served as executive producer on the new film, which tells the true story of a Christian family in East Texas who adopted 77 kids from foster care. Premiering on July 4, 2024, Sound of Hope has taken in $7.7 million thus far against a reported budget of $8.5 million.
