Directed by Michael Sarnoski, A Quiet Place: Day One is the third installment in John Krasinskis horror franchise and chronicles the early days of the alien invasion that ultimately decimated the planets civilization. The film follows Sam (Lupita Nyong’o) and her cat, Frodo, as she and her hospice group take a day trip to the city of New York. What begins as a fairly mundane afternoon quickly devolves into a terrifying landscape where silence is a persons only safeguard. After the deadly aliens befall the city, Sam encounters an unlikely friend, Eric (Joseph Quin), before the pair and their feline friend do their best to navigate the city and stay alive.
