Adam Sandler is currently making the rounds to promote his new Netflix film, Leo, and during a conversation with Access Hollywood, the 57-year-old actor revealed that back in 1994, it was initially supposed to be Roseanne Barr who sang ‘The Chanukah Song’ on Saturday Night Live. The song helped make Sandler a household name, propelling him to stardom in films such as Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, and The Wedding Singer. After being asked if he feels like he’s the “Mariah Carey of Hannukah,” Sandler reflected on how being on SNL was a good time in his life.
