Doctor Who is the wildly popular British science-fiction show from the BBC. It follows the adventures of the Doctor, an extraterrestrial who appears human and operates a time-traveling spaceship that looks like a 1960s British police box (that’s a public telephone kiosk for all you non-Brits).
