I hate Mondays. But this one seems okay. In case you’re stuck in a lasagna coma and haven’t heard, the official trailer for next year’s animated Garfield movie has officially been released. Starring obligatory-voice-in-all-animated-reboots Chris Pratt, the new movie appears to delve more into Garfield’s backstory, showing his adoption by Jon and reunion with his long-lost father. The Garfield Movie marks the first film appearance of the titular orange feline since a string of direct-to-video releases in the late 2000s. There’s no denying that Jim Davis’ comic strip is one of the best-known of all time, but is there a need for a reboot?
